Zack had the opportunity last time to redeem himself after being convicted of being terrible at washing the dishes. But he spent too long chatting and complaining instead of completing his hard labour task.
So instead of being allowed to leave, he remains in custody... Or should that be custard-y?!
Without any break from his ongoing imprisonment at all, Zack - still chained in the cell by his ankles - is locked in the pillory and smeared with leftovers. (For those who are curious, a very British selection of custard, rice pudding and mushy peas). The slops are rubbed into his face and hair, with the excess falling into the washing-up bowl he had been carefully filling with water beneath him.
He's then released from the pillory but immediately handcuffed behind his back. Kneeling over the bowl of dirty water, his head is pushed in and he's badly washed-up himself, the guard pushing his head in again and sponging water onto him.
Once he's "clean", there's the small matter of his Solitary Sixty to serve... And we've brought out the dreaded standing metal stockade to prevent him from wiping any of the sticky residue from his face or hair!
How will Zack cope with being damp, uncomfortable and incarcerated for an extra hour? We really pushed this inmate to his limits in this episode...
