It's up to Inmate J-04 to judge how long he's been incarcerated or else his sentence will be doubled!

After travelling down from Leeds, how long will it be before Jack's allowed home?
After travelling down from Leeds, how long will it be before Jack's allowed home?

The challenge

Inmate J-04 is locked up and alone in the cell for a full hour with just a notebook, pencil and the all-important orange button! He just has to press the button every 10 minutes... The problem being our inmate has no way of knowing just how much time has passed...

He can have up to 5 attempts within his 60 minutes of imprisonment. A margin of error of 30 seconds each way on each try is allowed.

Hit the target close enough at least 3 times to win the cash prize and freedom from the jail...

Fail and the sentence will be doubled - another full hour behind bars will await in the next instalment... and the dreaded standing stockade awaits to make it a punishment he'd rather avoid!
