Nobody knows the sentence that awaits in new Solitary Sixty show THE SELECTOR!


Riley is the brave player to take on the board for the first episode.

His fate lies in the hands of the random Selector as he drops tokens into the board and hopes for a kinder sentence... Or perhaps he'll even win his freedom?

Five options sit at the bottom of the board for each drop. The centre space is left empty.

Riley will be asked a suitably random quiz question. If he can pick the correct answer, a better option will be put into the empty centre spot. A wrong answer will put a worse option there instead!

After an incorrect answer, Riley loses the chance to stay in his own clothes and instead adds in the option of the striped prisoner outfit!

The second drop will pick what restraints are to be used. If he can answer this one correctly, he'll add in the possibility of no restraints at all - although he'll still be locked in the cell, of course

After the first two drops, Riley heads off to change into his chosen uniform whilst the cell is prepared with any restraints required.


When he returns, he is secured in the cell with leg irons to remove any chance of him escaping. He then faces one last question, one last drop - the most important of all...

The final drop is his only chance to escape. If he can answer correctly, the middle space will award him with freedom. Answer wrongly, and he's definitely spending at least an hour imprisoned.

The Selector is the first format where losing challengers could face TWO hours locked up!


Whatever is selected, sentence will begin immediately, with any restraints applied and the door locked.


If the Selector chooses a Double Sixty for challengers, they will serve the first hour before having to drop another token into the Selector from inside the cell - there's no break in a Double Sixty! This will choose what restraints are to be used for the second hour.


(And if you're curious what a "Double Mystery" is on that selection above - it's a Double Sixty but with no timer shown to the prisoner, so they never know how much of their sentence is remaining!)
