When choosing your Solitary Sixty visitor experience, your first choice will be whether to go for a SOLO Sixty minutes or brave a DOUBLE Sixty!
If it's your first visit, you might prefer to keep to the shorter SOLO Sixty. Keep in mind the 60 minutes refers to the time you'll spend locked inside the cell - the entire experience can take up to 2 hours, especially if you choose to have your sentence filmed.
As well as the time spent behind bars, allow time for:
a quick safety briefing
changing into your prisoner overalls
having your mugshot photos taken
safely fitting any restraints required for your sentence
setting up camera equipment, if necessary, then after your sentence is complete...
removing any restraints, and
changing back into your own clothes
If you select the DOUBLE Sixty, you'll spend 2 hours in the cell but should allow around 3 hours for the entire experience. As well as the list above, there may also be a short interval halfway into your sentence, depending on the format you select.
Whether you go for 1 hour or 2 behind bars, you'll have a range of options available to you depending on the option selected.
If you select the SOLO Sixty...
CHALLENGE: You attempt to escape by solving various puzzles to release keys that will unlock the chains around your wrists and ankles. Then you'll need to discover all the combinations to the padlocks on the cell door. This uses the JAILBREAK format without the punishment hour should you fail to escape - for that, you'll need the DOUBLE Sixty option.
ENDURANCE: Any escape is made impossible so you will experience genuine imprisonment, with different restraint scenarios available! (More on those in a future news article...)
SPLIT: A shorter 30-minute escape challenge, followed immediately by a punishment where the cell door is inescapably locked for the remaining 30 minutes if you have not exited in time.
If you select the DOUBLE Sixty...
CHALLENGE & PUNISHMENT: This is the JAILBREAK format you may have seen in our video content. Your challenge is to escape by solving various puzzles to release keys and discover combinations to locks. If you fail to escape in time, your second hour is your punishment without any chance of escape. There may need to be a short pause between challenge and punishment hours to adjust the cell apparatus. You can use this opportunity for a short break, or you can remain restrained in handcuffs and leg irons!
SPLIT ENDURANCE: Escape is made impossible. You can choose 2 different scenarios, with a short break after 1 hour. The different scenarios can be seen in the gallery on the DOUBLE Sixty page and will be described in more detail in a future news article.
SUPER ENDURANCE: Simply 2 hours with the same scenario and no break... Not for the faint-hearted!
You don't have to decide on a format when you book...
You'll be sent a link when you have selected a date and paid the deposit for your experience that will allow you to make your format selection. It is also how you provide clothing info and your choices about extra restraint options for punishment / endurance options.
